Our line of hand-poured soy candles and natural hand-milled soaps are made in Los Angeles, California, by women who have transitioned out of homelessness through the Downtown Women's Center. The candles and soaps are infused with natural-inspired aromas and oils, using clean burning soy wax, natural ingredients, and recycled glass jars and paper. This employment opportunity allows for them to continue on the path of empowerment.
This vase was handcrafted with recycled brass and upcycled horn by women artisans living in the Kibera slum of Nairobi. Your purchase provides these women with an opportunity to improve their livelihoods though fair trade employment, access to healthcare and education.
